Genoa Kids

Re-Entry to Genoa Kids:

We are excited to announce that Genoa Kids, birth – 5th grade, will re-open next Sunday, September 13th during our Indoor 9:15 & 11:00 AM services. Please take a moment to watch the video above, which will give you a walk through of what Genoa Kids will look like this weekend.

We have been preparing for our kids and here are a few of the ways that we plan to safely gather our kids:

•Registration will be at the entry point in the main kids area. Our families will directed to the age appropriate classrooms with enough social distance between each group.
•Drop off and Pick Up will follow one way traffic patterns with plenty of signage and help along the way
•Hand Washing/hand sanitizer used for drop off and pick up
•Snacks will not be provided at this time
•Our spaces, toys and high touch surfaces will be cleaned before and after each service.
Please click HERE to watch a video of our disinfecting process.
•Our leaders will wear face-coverings (kids are not required to wear masks)
•Our spaces will be configured for social distancing.
•This will be a new process but our goal is to make it as easy as possible and we are here to help. If you have any questions, please reach out to Pastor Joe at jstoll@genoachurch.org

What is Genoa Kids?

Genoa Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through 5th Grade. Our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

Who Attends Genoa Kids?

ALL children (babies through 5th grade) attend Genoa Kids each Weekend! We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand, that we encourage families to not have them sit in the services designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.

What is Available for Nursing Moms?

A mom’s viewing room is available in our ‘baby’ room for moms and babies 10 weeks old and under. This is a “Moms Only” room for women who are nursing their babies.

What is AWANA?

*Due to the precautions we are taking for COVID19, AWANA is not currently meeting as of September 2020.*

This stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. AWANA reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey through putting an emphasis on scriptural memorization.
