CHILDREN’S MINISTRY AT GENOA BAPTIST CHURCH

What is Genoa Kids?

Genoa Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

Who Attends Genoa Kids?

ALL children (babies through 5th grade) attend Genoa Kids each Weekend! We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand, that we encourage families to not have them sit in the services designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.

What is Available for Nursing Moms?

A mom’s viewing room is available in our ‘baby’ room for moms and babies 10 weeks old and under. This is a “Moms Only” room for women who are nursing their babies.

AWANA Preview Night is Wednesday, August 28th
Kick Off Night is Wednesday, September 4th

What is AWANA?

Our Wednesday Night kids program is called AWANA and we meet at 6:45pm in the kids building. This stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. AWANA reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey through putting an emphasis on scriptural memorization.
