Sunday Indoor Services

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR AN INDOOR SERVICE

You are invited to join us for 2 indoor services:
10:00 AM and 12:30 PM
(Drive In Services held on Campus on Sundays at 9:15 and 11:00 AM)

Indoor Service Procedures:
  • We will keep you posted if we open up any additional services for this coming Sunday and/or future Sundays.
  • Additionally, we encourage anyone in a vulnerable health situation; please do not attend the Indoor Service at this time. However you are still welcome to attend the Drive In services.

WHAT WILL THE WORSHIP SERVICES LOOK LIKE?

  • People who watch online and people who attend in-person will watch the same message and music.
  • Both indoor services (10:00 AM and 12:30 PM) will offer seating that will be separated by six feet of empty space and families may sit together. The Back Doors will open 30 min prior to our service time beginning (these are the doors located at the Church Office entrance)
  • We will have our normal Online Services and Drive In services available on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11:00am.

WHAT ABOUT MASKS?

That is a great question. For indoor services, the CDC currently recommends wearing masks, but masks will not be required, as the law does not mandate them. We understand there are many opinions about wearing masks. There will undoubtedly be people with and without masks at these services, so please extend grace to one another.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE WE TAKING?

We have taken the following precautions as we prepare to reopen the building on Sundays.
  • Social distancing procedures with the exception of families sitting together
  • Seats will be assigned upon entry; families will be allowed to sit together
  • Multiple hand sanitizer stations
  • No handshaking
  • No passing of offering buckets
  • No self-serve coffee stations
  • Self Serve handouts
  • The doors will remain open, so you do not need to touch them.
  • Restrooms will be cleaned frequently during the morning.
  • No group or social gathering in halls or auditorium and please go directly to your car when the service concludes.

WHAT ABOUT STUDENT AND KIDS PROGRAMMING?

We will not have any Student and Kids programming at this time. Therefore, we are asking families with children that would not be able to practice physical distancing to not attend these in-person worship services at this time.

Reopening Plan

GENOA CHURCH REOPENING PLAN

  • Drive in Services 9:15 and 11:00am.
  • Indoor Service at 8:30am and 10:00am
  • Online Services streamed LIVE at 9:15 and 11:00am.
We realize there will continue to be a wide range of emotions and opinions about gathering in-person again. Some people may not want to gather in-person at this time. Others have been ready to gather in-person for several weeks. Therefore, we will need to extend much grace to one another through this process.

If you are unable to attend for whatever reason,

please still join us online or at our Drive In services at 9:15 and 11:00.

Drive In Church

Genoa Church will be doing Drive-In Church every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00
We have set up a raised platform for worship and speaking and will have an FM transmitter that you will be able to tune in to and listen from your car. We’ll have parking attendants helping you park and navigate the parking lot.
We just want you to drive up, park, tune in, and let’s be encouraged together!

Don’t worry if this option doesn’t work for you!
We will still be streaming our regular services at 9:15 and 11:00am via genoachurch.org/live,
as well as our Sunday Radio Broadcast at 11:00am on WRFD 880am.

Please note: the Drive In Service uses a local FM station -a short wave broadcast- that can only be heard on campus.
Thank you for being on this journey with us!
We’re going to keep reaching people, challenging one another, and growing in our faith.
For more information or any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at info@genoachurch.org
