*Formerly known as MOPS
Mom Life 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, 9:30am-11:30am, from September-May
*Doors open at 9:15am and we begin at 9:30am.  Please enter through the cafeteria doors (south side of building) and meet on 2nd floor.
During our main Mom Life Meeting, our moms meet at the church for 2 hours for breakfast, encouragement, and fellowship. Quality childcare is provided to give the moms a much needed break and the opportunity to meet with other women in their same walk of life as well as be mentored by older women who have been right where they are at.
If you plan to attend Mom Life regularly we also encourage you to give $50 in dues for the year to help us cover the costs of all our awesome meeting content! (However, if this is a hardship for you, please contact Angela at abuck@genoachurch.org and there are scholarships available.)
Are you a mom who is pregnant or has a children living at home?  Are you looking for other moms in your stage of life to share with, fellowship with, and develop real friendships?  Need somewhere for your kids to be nurtured while you have a hot breakfast, listen to informative speakers, participate in creative activities, and have some “me time”? Then Mom Life is the place for you!   Why should you be a part of Mom Life?

1) A Place of Common Ground

Mom Life is a place to make new friends, discover a wealth of helpful hints and smarter strategies when dealing with the challenges of motherhood(at all stages.)  Our program offers a morning of food, fun, creative activities, guest speakers on relevant topics such as parenting, relationships, marriage, and more!  Plus attending children are cared for in our quality, biblically based children’s program.
2)  Encouragement It’s designed to encourage relationships with other women in similar stages of life while meeting a member right where she is with her Christian walk. Mom Life isn’t a ‘church type’ meeting, but more of a structured get-together for moms to enjoy breakfast, listen to a speaker, make a craft, and have brief discussion time about motherhood and Jesus.
3) Time to be with friends We also offer structured childcare. Your child will have time to make new friends and play while giving you time with friends.
Our Mom Life group meets for two sessions yearly – Fall and in the Spring. We begin in September and then take a break around Christmas.  We resume in January and then break for the Summer in May.
Our Mom Life group meets ON CAMPUS the 1st & 3rd Thursday of month  for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth.  The 1st Thursday of the month, we call this ‘Soul Care’, is more of a discussion study and we will walk through a biblical based book study.  (we will stream this session LIVE via our facebook page.)  The 3rd Thursdays are our ‘main meetings’ where we offer brunch, an activity and an encouraging and inspiring speaker.
We meet September – May and would love to have you join us!
